While it’s certainly the case that a University may host an event paneled by individuals that the University leadership does not agree with or even may find reprehensible, it starts to look more like endorsement when they get into the habit of tossing law abiding citizens for asking questions of the University guest that may be uncomfortable.--------------
Such was the case in the almost universally overlooked incident that took place at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in November of last year.
The Muslim Students Association (MSA) at the University of Central Florida invites Jamal Badawi, listed as #20 on the Hamas conspirators list, and is welcomed at UCF. Police forcibly drag out attendee for simply asking a question. And to add insult to injury UCF is once again hosting another Hamas supporter Siraj Wahhaj this coming Friday.

The Muslim Student Association at the University of Central Florida is sponsoring ‘An Evening With Imam Siraj Wahhaj’ as part of what is being celebrated as Islam Awareness Month during the month of February.
Imam Wahhaj is scheduled to speak on campus this Friday, February 25th, as one of the scheduled events the MSA has lined up to ‘combat the misconceptions of Islam and its practices’.

SUMA was started at USF 16 years ago by a group of Christian and Muslim women who wanted to counter people's negative beliefs about Islam. The group holds regular events, but this was their first one devoted to the hijab.
