Sea level rise probably slowed down in the last 50 years

According to this
the global sea levels were increasing by 2 mm a year in the first 50 years of the 20th century but only 1.5 mm a year in the last 50 years of that century (in average), plus minus some errors. So we might have to wait for longer than previously thought before Manhattan is claimed by the ocean. ;-)
