This is a really important book on issues of Climate Change and public policy. It is essential reading for anyone involved in those debates. Its not too strong to say that it will set the terms of the debate for the next five years, maybe longer. If you argue about public policy and energy and climate you will find that you are arguing in terms set by Pielke, you won’t be able to avoid that. Your choice is only whether you want to have read his arguments as he wrote them, or to get them at second hand from other people in the debate.
