That's nice but how does this explanation emphasizing the "difference" agree with the nomination of Sheila Watt-Cloutier, an Inuit I've never heard about who has 5 times less Google hits than your humble correspondent? What difference has she made? Is riding a dog sled enough?
Moreover, before the explanation above could be used to justify the nominations listed in this article except for Ms Watt-Cloutier who was treated separately, the Nobel Peace Prize would first have to be renamed to
- the Nobel Prize for Influential Mass Killers, Annihilators of Economies, Terrorists, Econuts, and Imbeciles.
Sounds pretty good. ;-)
