Owen Chamberlain died at 85

Owen Chamberlain who shared the 1959 Nobel prize for his discovery of the antiproton died at his home in Berkeley. He has made the first steps that allowed Jerry Gabrielse, after some twists and turns, to produce anti-hydrogen atoms (or anti-atoms) and future generations of physicists to produce the antiworld. Chamberlain also suffered from Parkinson's disease.
